Pumpkin means I can focus on my cat and not the bill
Having Pumpkin insurance means that whenever my cat is ill I can focus on her and not stress over the cost of her treatments. Filing a claim is easy, they've made the process very user friendly, I only have to check a few boxes and upload the vet bill . Pumpkin will reach out to the vet directly if they need additional medical records. The communication from Pumpkin was great. The official approval is back in just a couple of days, and they always encouraged to reach out with questions. Since they are great at providing information I rarely have any questions.

After emergency dental surgery for one of our cats, we decided we needed to sign up for pet insurance. Little did we know that about two weeks after our waiting period ended one of our sweet babies would start feeling unwell. We took her to the vet and found out that this precious four-year-old is in congestive heart failure. We have had numerous tests, including x-rays, EKGs and ultrasounds and even an overnight stay at the emergency vet with 24 hours in an oxygen chamber. Pumpkin has been absolutely phenomenal to work with and they made the claims process super easy. While the prognosis for our girl is tentative at best, it’s helped having Pumpkin support us financially. We would highly recommend purchasing Pumpkin insurance.

I am completely blown away by my experience with pumpkin, the customer service is superb and my claims have been handled so fast!!! The first one which usually takes the longer was actually only 10 calendar days and the two after that less than 24 hours!!! I couldn’t believe it… I added the doctors notes, which was just a phone call and they emailed them… I think that may have helped, but never did I expect such fast process!! I am telling every pet owner I know that they should have pet insurance and I highly recommend pumpkin

After satisfying my deductible earlier this year, I submitted two different invoices (just take a picture on your phone and upload) and was reimbursed within a few days at my 90% rate, no questions, follow up or delays. I ve been a pumpkin customer for about 2 years I think. It was tough to justify the premiums because money has alsways been tight. I just had my first reimbursement during a very stressful time and it was such a blessing! I want to thank the person who reviewed my claim and y’all for helping me get through a very tight financial season without having to watch my baby be in pain and choose between that and like going broke! Pumpkin made it super easy to file a claim the instructions were clear and the interface so mostly very intuitive. It didn’t take me a minute to figure out how to find my policy. I wish that was one of the header options right away on the side bar like “my documents” or “my policy” or something but then I eventually found it under my pets.

This was the first time to submit claim after our 1yr old Frenchie got bit by a copperhead. He was taken to an emergency Vet and got the antivenom and meds needed. We then had to take him to our Vet the next day for more antibiotics and fluids. He is doing great now and submitting my claim was very easy. I uploaded thru the app and got an email that it was submitted and within a few days we received our 90% after our deductible amount. I highly recommend Pumpkin for their promt attention and getting us paid.
