Most of the customer service representative were helpful and nice. However my bill increased by $45.00/month. My plan is expensive and does not even include wellness visits. When I first became a customer, they labeled my 6 pound Yorkie vicious, and my other Yorkie with anxiety because he needed medicine once for a car drive to Florida for motion sickness because he vomits un the car. They just label your dog so the company does not to cover any potential/future issues. My vet records never used words or implied that my dog was anxious or vicious. I’m in the process of shopping around now for new insurance.
I had some questions about my claims so I called the Claims department. The rep named Veronica was awesome. Very knowledgeable and fast when answering all my questions. The experience was extremely positive. I would recommend the company to anyone if my first interaction is the standard. Very grateful. And my claims were process efficiently and fast. Thank you.

December 29, 2025 our dog was not feeling well. Took her to the Vet to find out she has diabetes. This required a 3 night hospital stay, insulin shots, a change to prescription dog food and weekly monitoring for first 3 weeks. Thanks to Embrace we knew we would see a reimbursement for 80% of the cost based on the policy we signed up for. Embrace has always paid with no issues. We are thankful to have Embrace for our pet.
Been using them for 4 years and never any issues. Every once in a while a bump in the road but over great customer service

I’ve had Embrace pet insurance for a few years now and the reimbursement time was really good after all information was gathered. I had to downgrade to a lesser level due to my financial circumstances. The customer service agent was very helpful in helping me choose plus he explained the alternate process so my kitties wouldn’t have to go uninsured. I really appreciate that.

Embrace is a very good pet insurance. Claims are processed quickly and customer service has always been good. But like every insurance out there, after the first year, the premium increases considerably.

Customer service is quick and helpful! We tried going through Costco or Sam's Club to lower rates, but since we are prior/current customers our rates would have gone way up. Each time we get a pet, we get them covered w/ Embrace.
I love having Embrace pet insurance for my cat Gracie. Every claim I've ever made was either paid the same day or the following day. I would recommend them to anyone that has a pet. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. They are the best!
Claims Dept does everything to delay snd possibly to deny (Appears). I almost have to call several times in claims to get issues resolved Oversll the staff are courteous and good listeners but there in my view a claims problem. Costly and not getting what we signed up for . 🙏it gets better Please

I have had a wellness claim pending ever since December for one of my dogs. The company kept asking me for verification of a heart murmur that supposedly occurred June of 2023. My pet was not born until October of 2023. Once I had that cleared up they came back with required verification for a sedative that we give our boy for hyper activity. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
The people at Embrace are easy to deal with and customer service is always great. The policies are very adaptable and response time is quick. I had a serious issue with reimbursement but they fixed the problem instantly and made sure I got the correct solution. Peace of mind for my dog who seems to find trouble in off vet hours—so worth it. Thanks Embrace.
Customer service is courteous, friendly and professional. Made an error on a claim and had to refile and the process was very smooth and handled expeditiously with updates provided in a timely fashion. Very satisfied customer.
Offers a lot but the receiving , reviewing & process and especially the refunds take to long . Im thinking of finding another pet insurance company

I had some problems with the Embrace website and questions about my policy renewal. I was connected to Anna who spent about 45 minutes with me going over both issues. Not only was she professional and helpful, she was very compassionate about my dog's health issue. This is why I would never choose another company over Embrace.
Working with this company was mostly a good experience, but only for one year. The support staff is always kind and professional, the website is easy to use and I was reimbursed quickly for claims I submitted. However, my premium DOUBLED after one year. A 100% increase in cost is outrageous and now I can't keep all my pets insured with this company.

Excellent customer service and while the premiums do increase yearly, it’s just the cost of business. I love the ease of submitting claims and as a 10+ year customer I’ve seen their intentional efforts to implement innovative processes and resources to meet the needs of its customers.

I am a new policy holder with Embrace with recommendation from my USAA policy request. As is standard practice Embrace was thorough and diligent in reviewing my pet, Sophie (a 3 year old lab) history and reporting their assessment. It contained two pre-existing conditions one of which was an error from my SPCA. The representative made it clear what the conditions were and how best to communicate any errors. After considerable time, the Vet finally responded to Embrace recognizing the error and requesting a removal of the Dental preexisting condition. I am completely amazed how promptly this was accomplished by Embrace. And appreciated Thanking me you for my patience as we got to the bottom of this case and of course, thank you for continuing to choose Embrace. I have complete trust that requests of my policy will be assessed, analyzed and responsive with the utmost professionalism and respect for my concerns.
I love Embrace Pet Insurance. I've had Illness and Injury insurance for my cat since 2014. Embrace has been helpful and given me all the info I need to get his treatments reimbursed (sometimes I get reimbursement in 2 days!). If you have a pet, get Embrace Pet Insurance, it's worth it!
very fast response to my pet's claim
I don’t want to sound like a sponsor or something, but Embrace is so amazing. I just had a vet visit 2 hours ago, submitted my claim 1 hour ago, and just got a notice that it was approved and my refund is going to hit in the next couple of days. They’re always so quick and it’s been such a relief to have. When one of my dogs needed dental care, they covered the 80% that they said they would. If I had to cover that myself it would’ve been $4,000 out of pocket. Thank you for being so amazing!!!

I needed further explanation of some of my cat's benefits. I called Embrace Insurance and spoke to two very helpful and patient women who guided me through the whole insurance policy. It made my job of deciding the best care for my cat much easier. I have never had a problem with Embrace Insurance.
Claims are easy to submit when I had a problem it was quickly resolved.
Embrace was fairly quick to pay benefits but the policy price increased every year and at a pretty large amount. I understand vets aren't cheap but my biggest issue was cancelling my policy was very difficult.
I modified my policy because it was getting too expensive. The modification was recognized by Embrace but I was still charged the higher amount.

Filing a claim is easy, directions on the web site are good. When you have a legitimate claim, they pay quickly.
Follow-up on Veternarian identification was required. Company employee was very helpful and that was completed for application.

My interaction with customer service when I couldn’t get the expiration date for billing to change was an easy and pleasant experience as all my interactions with Embrace have been. The person who helped me was extremely personable and helpful.
I filed three claims at the same time. One claim is still pending info from the vet, so I won't review that one. One claim was reimbursed as expected - 5 stars for that. The other claim was reimbursed at about 20% of the total - much lower than expected. I sent a follow up asking why the amount was so low and still have not received a response. 1 star for that.

Our 5 yr. old Aussiedoodle has had his share of claims and Embrace has been a lifesaver to us. We weren't sure if pet insurance was affordable or necessary, but it has proven to be both.
I have been waiting for a review of my submitted claim for almost 3 months. After I tracked down all the information Embrace requested to rule out a pre-existing condition, I continue to wait on their response. Don’t waste your time trying to reach a human on the phone. The wait is almost always over 1/2 hour and it could be more but I always end up hanging up. Additionally, the website always has glitches and redirects me to an unresponsive page. I’m not sure what’s going on with this company but I’m willing to wait and see how they respond to my claim.
Embrace has been easy to partner with for the health of my cat. When my boy passed away, the Embrace staff were professional and supportive. They were always prompt with claim payments. When I called to remove home from the policy, I was immediately refunded that month’s prorated premium (I was not expecting that).
Renewal for our 5 year old dog with zero claims for the last 4 years was DOUBLE last year's premium. When I checked a quote as if we were a new customer it was barely half. When I called to talk about it, the rep had no official answers. But it turned out if I change anything to "reset tenure" then with a small waiting period the quote would be cut nearly in half with no significant "pre-existing conditions". Feels like dealing with shady company (like all insurance companies) that will happily over charge you like this. The rest of the service has been good, the website and information provided so 3 stars.
Always helpful and friendly
Website is very easy to use. Our claim was for a planned surgery. Submitted pre authorization which as approved within a week. It only took 2 days from submitting the claim to receiving the reimbursement. I wish my medical insurers were this good.
Mostly posive experiences with claims, but the submission process is a little glitchy and annoying.
Embrace generally is quite easy to negotiate regarding submitting claims on line (or by mail) and the customer service people are almost always polite, respectful and helpful. Tonya was excellent. I've had just one experience (actually twice with the same person) that has been off-putting. Otherwise, always easy and nice to deal with.

This is our third year with Embrace. The web site is so easy to use and claims are always resolved with one to two days. Your reimbursements are back in your bank account quickly. They are dedicated to taking care of your pets. I messed up one claim by using the wrong year and instead of just declining my claim they saw my mistake and fixed it themselves let me know where my mistake was and continued to resolve and reimburse me for my claim. They are all friendly, outstanding representatives who are truly there to help you take care of your pets.
Embrace has always been very good to me and my pet. They are very helpful and response quickly when I have a question about coverage. They also process my claims in a responsible time.
