Painless process, very good online servicing, knowledgeable agents but their title company process is abysmally slow. It took 2 full months to determine judgements against my name we're not mine. One of them was for child support that was placed when I was 7 years old. I don't have kids, and definitely don't think I could have had 3 teenagers by the age of 7.

Notes: 1 thing I disliked is a last day change to cash to close. $600 pest treatment catch put on me, but VU gave some credits on top worth 3x that. So, I am pleased overall. 1 thing I would do different is scrutinize the hell out of the initial estimate with every line item and understand how it aligns to the deal. That makes my decisions thereafter better informed. I did not do this as well with frequent late nights and not enough time away from work and the rest of the life transition going on all in parallel, and possibly suffered from it. Not a fun time for me, but glad for this team.

This was my first home buying experience and I really didn’t know what to expect. Shawn Hall was phenomenal! He was very attentive, he made sure I understood everything that was going on and set my expectations well. He is very passionate about helping people and that showed though out the whole process. His communication was top tier! My situation was different because we were supposed to close on one house and it fell through due to the seller, however Shawn was extremely positive and guided us through and we closed on the second home. Shawn didn’t make me feel like a number that most lenders would make you feel like. He made me feel like a person that deserved the home that I wanted and made sure to do all that he could to make sure I was taken care of and for that I am truly grateful! My team was amazing, specially Tommy Heller. But I do have to say that Carrie Maddox my files person was absolutely horrible and made my experience more stressful and harder than it needed to be. Carrie made me change my home insurance 4 different times within the short period of time of her working with me and did not want to call me at all. I called her multiple times and it went to voicemail with no response later from her. The only way of contact with her was text or email. She also did not explain anything to me unlike my other team members. Everyone in my team was the best and explained everything to me clearly except Carrie Maddox.
