Why is the part not covered for my air conditioner? Wouldn't you rather pay for the part then have to replace the whole unit. Also I don't like taking to a computer than a real person!!
Concerned that it will be July 10th before someone looks at the hvac system. We live in Mississippi where it is extremely hot daily. Not very beneficial for the home owner

It took only a few hours for me to receive an email about an appointment with a local technician after I made an initial call to file a claim. The technician was easy to communicate with and knowledgeable.
HWA responded quickly after I filed my claims and the service call was the next day. The service provider was prompt and curtious.
The resolution representative was exceptional! The first point of contact customer service person gave me the run around and didn’t really try to help me with my issue after I threatened to cancel my policy I was transferred to the resolution specialist and he was wonderful and attentive. I wish I remembered his name, but he got everything taken care of and I appreciated it so much. My advice would be to train the first point of contact personal to be more caring and attentive to the policy holders they serve. She was more concerned about just telling me my issue wasn’t covered and not attempting to help me. The resolution specialist re submitted my claim and not only was it covered but approved.

Good customer service
HWA communicated well—it was fast and easy to submit my claim online, and they informed me about delays due to high demand. The technicians kept me updated during the visit. Adrian from Centel Heating & A/C quickly found and fixed the problem because he had the part on hand. The service was clean and quick. I was very happy with the experience and glad to have my A/C working again.
HWA responded immediately to send a tech to evaluate and repair my broken AC in Houston TX. There were no long forms and no foot dragging. The repair was made in one day with only the $85 flat charge.
Technician was able to resolve issue in a timely manner. HWA was very cooperative in solving the issue. I have use HWA and have always had a positive experience.
Great customer service and quick response
I recently switched Home warranty companies due to lack of coverage, being taken advantage of and mistreated. I was skeptical about joining this warranty company because of the way others treated me, denied claims etc but to my surprise, Home warranty of America treated me like a person, instead of a number or an easy paycheck. They were polite, quick and resolved my issue with my air conditioner. I am disabled and I need to keep my body at certain temperatures as they effect me deeply. They fixed my air conditioner quickly, didn't make me wait like other companies of the past. They approved the fix and have restored my faith in warranty companies. I highly recommend them, and Cowboy heating and cooling LLC, as Richardo did an excellent job and didn't leave here until he fixed my problem. Thank you Home warranty of America!

I would have given a five-star rating, but the process of setting up the appointment was a bit frustrating. I had to call multiple times and leave my number, but never received a call back. It actually took four separate attempts before I finally heard back from someone. That said, once the appointment was confirmed, everything else was excellent. The service was extremely professional, and the vendor who came out was amazing—quick, efficient, and resolved the issue with no hassle. I'm very happy we have this warranty and will definitely be renewing it next year. I just hope the callback system is improved. It would be much better to either stay on hold to speak with a representative or at least avoid being disconnected if a number isn’t entered. A smoother scheduling process would make the whole experience perfect.

They were able to tell me what was covered and not covered by my policy. Also covered the electrician’s work, I only paid the deductible.
Arrived on time and check everything out and repaired the A/C unit.
Overall, the experience was good. The claim process was pretty easy. HWA scheduled an appointment for me and when it came to the day of the service the company was unaware of the appointment. The company has reported that this happens couple times a week. This made a minor inconvenience with having to reschedule.
A reasonible amount of time between filing a claim and the repair time.

I took HWA at their word and paid for a 3.5 years contract however half hour later I still do not have confirmation details of what I purchased.
The technician came in looked at the furnace and then examined the ac unit and promptly figured out the issue and resolved. Appreciate his promptness and expertise.
The customer service person was personable helpful experienced and knowledgeable. I was able to understand him clearly and he was able to answer all my questions as well as provide me with information about a discount.
I was concerned few days before the appointment because I didn’t get a call back confirmation from the company. Thankfully, Jason called me the day before the appointment and confirmed the appointment the following day. Jason was professional and courteous. He came to the house on time and did the job skillfully without any issues. Thank you Jason and thank you American Home Warranty. Our lights outside the garage are working properly now and the electrical outlets that were tripping were fixed. Kudos!
The service repair technician texted me that he was on his way 20 minutes before arriving. Once arriving, he greeted me, explained what he would be doing and started on the job. He quickly identified the issue and asked if I would like to proceed with the repair which I did. He spent the better part of 2 hours repairing several parts in the refrigerator, cleaning up, explaining what he had replaced/repaired and instructions on when the fridge would be ready to restock food. Overall, an awesome experience start to finish.
Most important was the agent provided a clear explanation of the coverage for my two properties. That also coupled with the higher dollar amount that you covered from my current plan. Finally, I’m not tied to a contact. HWA checked all the boxes for me.

Experience was great. Michele greatly helped with the process of obtaining the home warranty. I don't have my policy yet and I'm still in the 30-day period for not having to be able to file a claim, so I can't tell if the plan I chose will work for me.

Upon calling HWA I was recieved very graciously by this assistant. She was very abiding to helping me with repair. In a few hours I had a scheduled repair time and day by a contractor. I was very satisfied. Thank you HWA.
I was disappointed that HWA did not cover either of my recent claims. The denial stated not normal wear and tear but it was a crack in the sump pump pvc from the house. The second denial was the flexible electrical wire from the AC to the house. Obviously from being exposed to the elements outdoors one would expect wear and tear on these items. The technicians were very professional and knowledgeable.
My claim was denied. I have appealed by email. I have been assigned a case manager. Have not talked to her. Since this is my air conditioning I would like to have a conversation with my case manager
Awesome service
We’ve had two issues. One was a failure with the fridge. The technician chosen must’ve only wanted to collect their fee for coming out. Item was not fixed because you couldn’t read the serial and module numbers. I spoke to another company and was told all they had to do is look up the fridge from Frigidaire and they would have gotten it. All that needed to be done is to unclog the drain. Not difficult but pure incompetence on the company sent to help us. 5/29/2025 We also had an issue with our AC and the technician sent was wonderful. He knew what he was doing and said it was fixable. 6/5/2025 I don’t remember the company name for either. I had contacted you because I had t heard anything about the fridge and then was informed it wasn’t covered. Not impressed when you should make sure companies know what they’re doing if they’re being sent. Not happy for paying a $75 fee and $900 to have this warranty and not get the help needed. Especially when I find out it’s VERY easy to get the proper information and it’s a quick fix of unclogging a drain to the fridge stops having a puddle of water!
The tech was on time & the claim was easy to send. The amount is a little much for them to come in to check out the issue. I think if you haven’t put a claim in for months or years there should be a discount for us.

When I called to make my first claim, the agent was obviously from another country, English was her second language, and it was quite noisy in the background. We got through the call regarding my refrigerator that isn’t cooling properly, and I was told the earliest appointment was 11 days out. That is too long for something like a refrigerator that is necessary, unlike a lawn sprinkler or something non-essential. She said that was the earliest appointment she could get and didn’t seem too concerned that I’ll have no refrigerator for almost 2 weeks. I’m also a top REALTOR® here in Central Texas and am using myself as a guinea pig to try your services and see if I want to sell your warranties. I have sold a lot of Home Warranties over the years… A LOT!

Doors in Motion responded and came out right away in repairing my garage door opener they were there within the time they specified and was less than an hr for the repair service man was very polite and even left me extra remote which I will use for emergencies

Home Warranty responded quickly to our request for our appliance repair assigned Richard from Richard's Appliance Repair, LLC. He provided exceptional service in repairing my Bosch microwave. He was prompt, and kept his appointment times, and was very respectful. He was able to quickly find the problem, ordered the parts on the weekend and quickly finished the repair. Great service by HWA and Richard.

True Comfort HVAC (877)668-8867 rescheduled my first appointment when I already requested time off to be there to diagnose my cooling problem. I had requested time off a second time and tried calling them to find out the exact date and time but there was no answer after 30 minutes of listening to their music. Nick the technician showed up on 05/29/2025 and did a great job diagnosing the problem. I tried calling them to follow up on what the next steps were after the diagnosis and again I waited for 40 minutes until a lady answered the phone and was extremely rude not allowing me ask any questions. I called home warranty of america right after to try and cancel the service from True Comfort but the process would start all over and would only make the process take longer. I haven’t received an answer on when the technician will come out to make the repairs and I honestly feel uncomfortable dealing with their costumer service representative’s attitude. It has been a rough week for my family and I with this heat in Visalia Ca.

We had our water heater replaced through Home Warranty of America. Home Warranty sent two different companies (technicians) to assess the problem and eventually replaced the water heater rather than try to keep repairing it. The process took about a week and a half, and we had to pick up a portion of the cost. Overall, the process went as we expected.
