Very good Service by phone
The technician that came to my home seemed knowledgeable however a part had to be ordered, therefore my issue was not resolved.
The CSR was very knowledgeable and answered all my inquires.
We had a refrigerator that had being sounding like an idling race car engine for the longest. We finally contacted Choice HW. The technician was an expert in evaluating the problem and making the recommendation to Choice HW. They did not hesitate in covering the mechanical problem. Entire experience with Choice HW was great!
It was easy to fille a claim and schedule an appointment on line.

Choice was terrific. My air conditioner in Florida went off and I called to file a claim. Less than one hour later I received an appointment for the same day. The technicians were very versed and professional and got my air conditioner working. Very please with Choice’s service. I recommend them strongly.

Initial appointment was a little late. When arrived diagnosed the problem to be the fan motor. Did not have the right motor to replace the bad one and had to reschedule another appointment which was three days later. That appointment was canceled due to a mechanical problem with his service van. The third appointment was two days later and finally got the unit fixed. Communication was a problem during this 6 day ordeal. The technician who performed the work was very good and checked the unit over when finished. He did a great job. Just took too long to get the problem fixed.

I just purchased Choice Home Warranty. The salesman was polite and thorough. The process was painless and the rates are better than the company I cancelled. Hopefully the service will be this good when I have a claim!

I put a claim in for 2 fans. I have an upfront cost for $65. I was not informed that the compensation is $70 per fan. Good luck finding good fans for that price. There were some at$65, but they were the cheap ones. Average fans cost about $150. So be prepared. The electrician was knowlegable and friendly.
I am very disappointed in the service I received from Choice. I received my claim number on 7/30/25. A technician finally arrived on Monday 8/18/25. My appointment was re-scheduled seven (7) times in more than two weeks. The vendor telephone representative informed me that their technicians do not work on weekends, but I was given weekend appointments. When the technician arrived, he recommended a cleaning service, which he says his company doesn't perform. But I felt this service is part of my Choice contract even if someone else in his company performs this. I would like someone from Choice to review my claim and contact me.

I was disappointed that on 8/11/2025, when I called CHW to report my flooded bathroom (which I had to explain to an automated phone responder) I clearly reported there was an inch of water on the bathroom floor and water was gushing from underneath the toilet. That was reported as a 'plumbing problem'. No person to understand that as a 73 you widow, this to me qualified as an emergency. TN is not my home state- no family here . So the first plumber assigned was Emhart Plumbing, but a day later the was changed via email to East TN plumbing. Even got a reminder to call the plumber to confirm the appointment. I called East TN and spoke to the owner and was told that they had never accepted the job and they were 1 1/2 hours away. I called customer service and the only consulation I got ,was that the order would be put reassigned. I received an email that ASAP Housewerks would come on Tuesday, 8- 26 between 7am and 11am.. I called to confirm to find that the plumbing company was located 2 hours away. So 15days later, I had a young man come in and replace the insides of my toilet - and very clogged part of the inner workings of my toilet. I was pleased with RSVP Plumbing- polite and finished the job in a timely manner.
Great customer service and very knowledgeable
I couldn't schedule an appointment til a week out so I wasn't thrilled. The day I made the appointment, I received a call that afternoon, that the technician was on his way, fortunately I answered the phone and my boyfriend was home. It all worked out.

The technician who came out is outstanding. We have seen him twice and he does everything he can to fix the problem, but in our case the washer and dryer were just too old and we were able to purchase new for the first time in 15 years.
Each time I have filed a claim, the claim is assigned right away. I have had problems with a few of the vendors they have assigned, however Choice is quick to fix the issue or re-assign another vendor.
I had a problem with my AC but it was resolved very quick and efficiently by the Supplier. They contacted me before and they are very friendly. I am happy with the service Thank you! Javier
Issue handled with no issues. Simple phone call is all it took. We have had this company for several years and have referred several other people to them as well. It did take the service company almost 2 weeks to come.
This is my first claim with Choice Home Warranty. I used the website to make the claim. The process was easy, but I had to pay the $75 service fee before I could get an appointment. The appointment was two weeks out. When I talked to the actual service provider, they were able to reduce the wait time to one week. More later when I actually have the service performed.

I have had Choice for a number of years and despite varying quality of technicians sent out and delays, the company has come through a number of times. This latest request was handled quickly and we were very pleased with the technician. We are hoping his explanation and repair of the problem proves correct.

I called in with a Labor Day promotion. The Choice Rep Lorenzo instantly honored the deal, and went extra miles securing a longer term one with even lower per-year cost. I ended up signing a new contract, and renewing an existing one way before its expiration.
Technician was friendly, helpful and fixed the problem ver quickly.
Choice response time to a claim is very efficient. However, getting connected to a service agent has much to be desired. Shouldn't have to wait three or four days or longer for a service agent to respond with a timeline on the repairs or service.
The technician was professional.
The service provided has not been good this time. Waited all day for the provider to come and received late notification that they will not be there today. The appointment was moved to Tuesday. Communication should be better between client and provider.

My most recent experience with Choice Home Warranty was very good. It involved a backed up kitchen drain in my 1972 built home. The Choice website made it very easy to get a technician appointment to fix the problem. The company and technician assigned me was excellent in every way in that positive communication was present continuously throughout the process. I have used Choice Home Warranty several times and have obtained excellent service every time, no matter what the issue was. I highly recommend Choice Home Warranty for your home as it will save you money and result in your problem being resolved.

He also provided different discount options of pricing based on our age and length of coverage. Fully satisfied and hopeful the services provided when needed will meet the same high quality.
tech came early. diagnosed the problem. took his time explaining what he was doing and what happened to the refrigerator. finished in a timely manner. after he left, called to make sure all was working well.
Plumber called before arrival, was courteous and professional, and did the job.
Was just checking comparison options with current home warranty service and there was a great disparity between services and price..haven't used services yet but looking to cut down on aggravating attempts to get other warranty company to live up to promises.

Plumber was very knowledgeable regarding sump pumps. Checked my sump pump thoroughly and let me know it was working properly so I don’t have to buy another pump.

Summit claim and a few days later the plumber came, he was very helpful
My pool pump went out and claim was answered the next day. Tech came out,diagnosed pump to be defective and it was approved immediately. They installed new pump the next day. My AC went out on another claim and it took 3 days to get tech out and repairs were approved immediately. It depends on the contractor that selects the job.
i was in the process of cleaning, said he order the part and when came would help me learn how to clean the igniters' properly (no one else took the time to tell me)

I put in my request and in less than 24hrs they had someone scheduled to come out. My only grip and it is nothing major. I wish they have the techs or companies call to schedule instead of just scheduling as I could not keep the original appt due to my work schedule. Besides that Choice warranty is phenomenal.
