Customer Service personnel are pleasant and respectful. Furthermore, they seem to understand their own processes and factors assisting and/or hindering your requested service. The only factor driving a 4 star review as opposed to a 5 star rating is the inability to provide timely responses by qualified technicians. I don't have insight to know if this is a price point issue for the offerings, timeliness of tech company compensation, or other business rules and practices, but it is noticeable to me, the customer. On a bright note, I have not experienced the long 'approved and/or covered' determining lead-times I have heard being an issue with other home warranty companies.
I was happy that I was able to talk to someone on a Sunday.
I called on Sunday afternoon, I had an email Monday morning containing the date and time of the repair which was Wednesday. The repair person was actually early and completed the service in around 20 minutes. Also, he was very friendly and knowledgeable!!!!!
The company that was sent came without the correct spring for our garage door and would take another week to get the correct spring. Or we could upgrade to the two spring system for an extra $199.00. Let’s see be without a car for another week or pay extra. Wow what a coincidence that he would have the 2 spring system but not the one! Make sure of the company that is assigned to you has everything for your repair.
I have had three different gome warranties and Choice is by far the best. They responded quickly, scheduled service quickly and fully covered my issue.
Not the best experience I have had. I had a very good home warranty service when I owned a home in CA. When I moved to MO. I incorrectly assumed the home warranty service would be comparable. Wrong! I don’t like giving 1 or 2 stars so 3 is my worse.

The company contracted Handy Bear repairs did a good job. However the communication from Choice when appointments have been scheduled was not good. I was not made aware of impending appointments before the date and was not home for the first appointment. Please improve your communication with your customers.
The technician called about coming even sooner but we resolved the issue privately and canceled service.
Everything was great. Efficient, looked at everything and made sure to diagnose the problem quickly. Company kept me informed on when they would arrive.
Even tho it took awhile to get everything settled and appointment set, the tech was great, friendly and most importantly fixed my problem!
USA Plumbing repaired our problem quickly, efficiently and in a professional manner. Their technician, Santana was polite and very knowledgeable.

Warranties should cover the cost of repair or replacement of covered items. By the time I paid for the service call for the tech and the estimated but not listed non covered charges, I paid half of the cost of the repair. I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for all of it but shouldn’t warranties cover the cost ? Is that not why they are purchased ?
Well, he didn’t fix the problem I’m out my $100.00 and I don’t know what to do next
My call was answered in person. I received courteous attention throughout the call. I was told What to expect in terms of a return call from a technician to schedule my job.

WE HARD TIME FINDING A NUMBER THAT WAS RIGHT. ALSO IT WAS A REGRIGATOR THAT I WAS HAVING TIME WITH. WE SORT OF FOUND OUT THE PROBLEM OURSELVES. THAT IS WHY WE CANCELED. I AM 81 AND ON OXYGEN 24-7 AND I THOUGHT IT WAS LOSING MY MIND. I DID HAVE A CARE TAKER WITH ME AT THE TIME BUT SHE HAD TO LEAVE. WE HOPED WE WOULD HEAR FROM YOU. SHE DID GET TO TALK TO A PERSON AND THEY TOOK ALL THE INFO. SHE SAID AS SOON AS A TEC. IS AVAILABLE HE WILL CALL OR COME OUT.
Quick and easy replacement of a light switch
Choice tries, but I think waiting 7 days for a technician to come out I think is too long.
Just as soon as I signed up, I got an e-mail with a "better offer." Why was this not offered up front? I was afraid to click on it because I did not know if it would automatically apply or give me choices so that I could make a choice at the time. Now, I am getting another e-mail from a rep. This is too confusing to customers. You should re-think this approach.

Service and timing are great.
Your technician was very polite, knowledgeable and had the problem fixed within 10 minutes. I live in a "Over 55 Community" and will tell people to call you if and when a problem should arise.

Our service people were great they did a very good job. I wish you would pay for equipment that is better than “builder grade”.

The process to get a service technitian was easy and fast. The only issue I had was I recieved an email late telling my I had an appt. the following morning. CHW is a better company to work with. I have worked with other home warranty companies and found this is the best of those I have tried. CHW has repaired the items I claimed without major issues. Don't expect overnight or next day service, the contractors are hesitant to work with any warranty company. Please speak with the repair company before repairs start to make sure you are getting quality service you will be happy with; they are your local service advisors.
A technician was contacted immediately and was able to come out the very next day and fixed the proble.
I was tired and just got off work, I have had the worst of luck for a year now, I spoke with David he offered me a wonder plan and lifted my spirits!! Thank You David!!

It is always easy to make a request for repair/service but actually getting someone out takes a little time. I was told one set of hours and then was disappointed when it was rescheduled for another day. When the repairman finally arrived, I was very pleased with his professionalism and commitment to complete the job.

What us great i get serviced promptly. Techs are usually very knowledgeable, and yes if they cant fix item,,theyll replace, which has happened to me. I've used Choice in 2 different states, and now my family has even signed up.they even covered my pool pump. Very happy to Have Choice part of our family.
Well, I thought the repair guy were repairing two things REFRIGERATOR wasn't cooling, his fixed that, his pulling his tools away, I asked what about the strip around the refrigerator door. He answered, he was unable to replace the strip. No heads up from CHOICE.

Overall Choice Home Warranty is good. Although I received way less compensation for my dead dishwasher, as I can’t even come close to replacing it with what they gave me. Very disappointing.

When signing up for this service, the salesperson told me it would cover everything in my appliances and sold me a 3-year contract that allowed a 6-month extension. The very first call I was told that the warranty does not cover the rollers or brackets in my dishwasher because choice only covers "mechanical" items. What is more mechanical than rollers and slides? It's the definition of mechanical! If they mean electronic, they should say that. This has only confirmed my impression of extended warranties, they always find a way to wiggle out of it. I then had issues with my microwave and they recommended a company that sent a 3-hour Time window, did not show up, did not call to say they were running late, and when I called into the office they made excuses for not contacting me when they were 5 hours late. I asked them to assign a new company which I did have luck with, but why should I have to go through this two and three times? They need to vet their vendors better. On the plus side, the repairman fixed my microwave.

The original appointment was for Monday it was changed and there was water damage due to the supply line leak. When the repair team got here they were exactly on time and only took 20 minutes to complete

Choice took the case over the internet. They were fast to reply. The first technician assigned to our case was not responsive. I requested and received another one within 24 hours. The new tech showed up 30 minutes late (they give you a 4 hour window for their arrival). He cane in, diagnosed the issue and left. I received a message from Choce letting me know that they will replace (rather than fix) the appliance. Unfortunately, I got no choice bilut to accept their replacement offer via an gift card. Their replacement cost was less than 1/2 the cost of replacement.
Drew, the customer service representative was very friendly and helpful. He has a very positive and professional attitude. He answered all my questions with compassion and knowledge. Choice Warranty is lucky to have a person like him. I would rate his service 5 out of 5 stars.
